We denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who we are to beguiled demoralized by the charms of pleasures that moment, so we blinded desires, that they indignations.
Where else can you get a bird’s eye view of world events, see the curvature of the earth, and witness an awe-inspiring sunset? You guessed it — or maybe not! — in a plane. With so many types of planes at your disposal, why not prepare yourself for the next trip by learning how to position yourself in order to make sure you get the absolute best view.
First, let your fellow plane passengers know that you are a frequent flyer and need the best view available. Once you’ve made it abundantly clear that you’re not leaving until the plane has been reconfigured, ask to sit in your favourite seat: #1, the window seat in aisle.
1.Don’t even try to imagine that the Plane Window view is flying directly to its destination. The reality is that planes are constantly making slight turns and going up and down, so that the flight will be more comfortable for the passengers inside. Although this may be a bit unsettling for some of you, it’s really not a bad thing because it means no one on board will have to deal with annoying turbulence!
2.Make sure you’re buckled up when you take this flight. Though it’s hard to imagine that any motion could be worse than sitting at the back of a car during a car chase, try to think back to your last plane trip and remember how much turbulence there was — especially during takeoff and landing.
3.Just because you’re not flying directly over to your destination doesn’t mean you can’t get a good look at it! Check out the map of your flight plan before you board and look for the cities along your route. You should be able to tell where you’re headed by looking at a map of North America. As the plane approaches your destination, watch the board in front of your seat for flight details.
4.Once you get close to the destination, you can’t see much from up here. However, as soon as you begin your descent, it’s time for some window watching! You should be able to see some of the city landmarks and even a small portion of the landscape as you drop down over a large body of water or land.
5.When we say “land,” we mean land. In most cases, this means that we’re not talking about the ground below! This is where it gets truly exciting because when we say “land,” sometimes what we really mean is “the water beneath the ground. That’s right — sometimes when you look out the window, you might see the City of Chicago, but what you’ll really be seeing is Lake Michigan. If it’s nighttime, you might even be able to see the lights of all the buildings.
This guide has helped you get up to speed on what’s out there when it comes to Plane Window view. Remember to stay buckled up during takeoff and landing, and always check the pilot’s map before you board the plane. And if you’re ever lucky enough to see a city through your window at night, remember that sometimes it won’t be a city at all — but water!
